The Stinger is designed to be simple and economical to install. It is delivered pre-assembled, complete with a fixing hole template to ensure the holes are drilled squarely into the foundation. Typical installation time is under two hours, making the Stinger a very attractive package for installers and end users alike.
Installation overview
1. Prepare the foundation
Use the supplied fixing hole template to mark and drill the foundation holes squarely and accurately.
2. Position the barrier
Place the pre-assembled barrier cabinet on the foundation and secure it with the fixing bolts.
3. Connect power
Connect the barrier to a 230V 1Ph 50Hz supply. The IP66-rated control panel housing protects the electronics.
4. Fit control options
Plug in your chosen control modules — card reader, push button, radio, induction loop or photocell.
5. Commission
Test the barrier's opening and closing cycle and safety features before handing over.
6. Hand over
Provide the operator with the keys and hand-wind handle, and confirm the serial number for future support.
